Having a perinatal doula support you and your partner before + after your baby is born can help to enhance your experience. Research has shown that support through this big life change can improve your likelihood of a more positive experience for your family.

This is a great option for families who want extra support for you and your partner but don’t want / cannot have, a doula to attend your baby’s birth.

This service is available for families welcoming a baby through birth, surrogacy, or adoption, as well as for families anticipating giving birth vaginally or via cesarean section. This service is also available for welcoming their first or subsequent babies.

Everything ‘But the Birth’ Doula Services offer 1:1 support for families throughout before and after birth. This provides you with the emotional and informational support you need from an experienced doula, as well as physical support and preparation during pregnancy to encourage an easier, shorter, more comfortable labour.

The Perinatal Doula Service Collection Includes:

  • 1 Consultation / Meet & Greet with Your Potential Perinatal Doula, Ilissa (30-minutes via Zoom)

  • 24/7 telephone/email/text support before birth, during early labour (if applicable), and during the 1st 6-weeks after birth

  • Physical, emotional, and informational support for you and your partner during your pregnancy, & postpartum period

  • Referrals to resources as needed / upon request

  • up to 5 x 1-hour Appointments with your Doula

    • up to 3 Appointments with your Doula (1-hour each) before your baby arrives

    • up to 2 Appointments with your Doula (1-hour each) after your baby arrives

  • Access to the Bean Family Wellness Lending Library

  • $50 off any Bean Family Wellness Prenatal Childbirth Class (private in-home or group classes)

  • 10% off any other Bean Family Wellness specialty classes, workshops, or CPR & AED Classes taken within 6 months

  • 10% off Certified Breastfeeding Specialist Consultations, Support Packages, or Quick Calls
